(5th Ave at 52nd St to Christopher & Greenwich Sts) (12 Noon) The March began as an annual civil rights demonstration beginning the year after the Stonewall Riots in 1970. Over the years its purpose has broadened to include recognition of the fight against AIDS and to remember those we have lost to the illness, violence and neglect. Back this year from a temporary cancellation, PrideFest seeks to bring together local residents and families, community leaders, and area business owners to celebrate in the street. (Pier 54, Hudson River Park at 13th St, New York, NY 10014) (4 - 10:30 pm) The Dance on the Pier was born out of a time when LGBT persons could not dance openly and proudly together. It is a protest set to music, a celebration set to the western skyline. Tickets: $55 until June 28; VIP $150. No tickets will be sold at the Pier. (MoMA, 11 West 53 St, New York, NY 10019) Bringing together more than 130 paintings, drawings, scenarios, and films by Salvador Dal� (1904�1989), this exhibition explores the role that cinema played in the artist's work.
