Can it really be that it's Labor Day!?  You just blink and summer flies by although I won't miss this summer's heat. As sad as it is to see summer fade, NYC is just as fabulous in the fall. There are still tons of things to do outside. Some of my favorites are the 3rd Avenue Street Fair (Sept 12), the Broadway on Broadway concert (Sept 12)  and let's not forget the 83rd Annual Feast of San Gennaro (Sept 16). Oh, and the Metropolitan Opera opens its 10-11 season on September 27th. This is just a small sample to help us segue into fall.

Much of the time I feel like Betty White when it comes to understanding Facebook & Twitter!  At we receive a last minute notice about tickets or a special this or that.  I guess Facebook is the fastest and most convenient method of getting the news out to our readers. Please go to our Facebook page, "like" our page and suggest it to your friends.  BTW ...NYC up & OUT's newsletter is also available on Twitter....I'm still trying to get the hang of Twitter and how to Tweet!

Enjoy Labor Day Weekend...relax, stay cool and be safe!
