It's incredible that Labor Day is behind us
and although it may be time to put away the white shoes and seersucker pants, we New Yorkers don't stop until the leaves start to fall. Just to name a few of September's great City experiences ... this Sunday is the Manhattan Chamber of Commerce's "Green" Street Fair.  If you love authentic Italian food, next week The Feast of San Gennaro begins. For the ultimate in fun, there's an exclusive GLBT night at Six Flags in support of Heritage of Pride. We are just a few votes from having Marriage Equality passed in the NYS Senate! On September 14th let's show our State Senators that we deserve equality by attending the Wedding March. And not to be missed, The New York Musical Theatre Festival -- the "Sundance" of musical theatre -- opens on the 15th.

On September 18th, join the Greenwich Village-Chelsea Chamber of Commerce at their second annual OUT TO WORK LGBT Job Fair being held at the Center. It's great way to interact with companies that are interested in demonstrating their workplace policies of fairness and equality with regard to LGBT issues. Career coaching will be offered free of charge to attendees.

Remember to always check our website www.nycupandout.com for all the latest arts, entertainment and cultural events that will get you up & OUT!

We launched a new feature "Job Search" last month, and lots of you linked to it. We'd like to hear your thoughts on this feature. Email us at info@nycupandout.com.

Only a few weeks left to participate in our NYC up & OUT! Reader Survey. You'll be automatically entered to win a weekend for two at either the Crown & Anchor in P-town or The Nevermore Hotel in New Hope.
